My first review will be about Daniel Silva's The Kill Artist.
The Kill Artist is the first novel of the Gabriel Allon series, is about an Israeli art restorer spy named Gabriel Allon, who is brought back to the spy game by his mentor Ari Shamron to get the man who murdered his son and left his wife in a state of shock. The chess type plot is intrinsic and with the easy going writing style of Mr. Silva, this novel is a page turner from the beginning. If you read it you'll get action, adventure, mystery and world travel, plus an excellent psychological profiling of the characters.

Daniel Silva (author in the picture above) is one of the best selling authors in the spy fiction genre.
A former reporter for CNN, Mr. Silva is experienced in world affairs. His first novel the Unlikely Spy became a best seller in 1997 and after that he started writing the Michael Osbourne series, which also became best sellers.
In 2000 he started with the Gabriel Allon series which has become his staple.
